The 11th International Garment, Textile Machinery Exhibition (IGATEX 2018) took place from 26th – 29th April, 2018 at Lahore Expo Centre. This year, IGATEX exhibition was much bigger as it occupied three halls of the Lahore Expo Centre. Around 500 exhibitors from 30 countries participated the exhibition.

RUDOLF PAKISTAN presented its innovative product range at IGATEX Pakistan 2018, with the theme "Smart chemistry for a sustainable future ". RUDOLF PAKISTAN is well known for taking leading measures in providing eco-advanced and innovative process and effect chemicals. It provides sustainable cost effective solutions that combine performance, safety. Company’s innovative solutions can help textile mills to meet the strict emphasis on clean production and reduced water consumption at controlled cost levels. RUDOLF PAKISTAN’s innovative products and services open doors to creativity, quality with cost and resource efficiency. Visitors at its stand could explore customized solutions to help address their challenges and requirements pertaining to performance, cost and application. Featured highlights at the show included Magna Colors, Sustainable Denim, Colortex dyestuff and the complete product range of RUDOLF GROUP. Company attracted many large customers with its solutions towards more innovative and sustainable textiles, in applications such as apparels, home textiles, technical textiles.

RUDOLF PAKISTAN showcased Magna Colors water based inks. Magna Color Inks are the most recent addition to the company’s product range. Ms. Helen Parry, Managing Director Magna Colors, participated the big event enthusiastically and achieved her business targets with giant customers on her visit.

RUDOLF PAKISTAN’s “SUSTAINABLE DENIM” project participated with the aim to provide the denim industry a knowledge about the development of new technologies for various material effects, while reducing the impact of denim manufacturing on the environment. RUDOLF Denim Project leaders discussed with denim manufacturers the ways to reduce water consumption and means to avoid cotton waste and energy costs as compared to traditional denim processes.

RUDOLF GROUP focused its demonstrations mainly on sustainability. Mr. Norbert Haberer, Sales Manager, held interesting discussions on the innovative finishes and technology offered by RUDOLF GROUP with the expanding range of silicone softeners and the C6-based fluoro-chemicals for water and soil management, the range of fluorine-free water repellents that focuses on meeting the market’s growing demand for a technology able to combine fluorine-free chemistry with long- lasting water repellency. Mr. Bernd Kaiser, Global Manager Technical Sales Pre-treatment & Dyeing, provided information on the successful processing packages to save time, money and cost factors keeping in view ecological factors.

The dyestuff range of Colortex was discussed with the leading customers. Discussions were held on high fastness and most commonly used ecological standards for the textile industry and ways to improve state-of-the-art process with an improved environmental profile.
